I’m a Denver-based, licensed clinical psychologist who helps people make sense of their experiences, move through challenges, and build lives that feel more aligned and fulfilling. My approach is rooted in research and personalized to you, combining evidence-based therapy with practical strategies for meaningful change.

About Me

I love what I do—not just because of the science behind it, but because therapy is a space for real conversations, insight, and change. I bring my expertise, but also curiosity, creativity, and real-life experience into sessions. I’ve also been on the other side of therapy, so I understand what it’s like to do this work—not just in theory, but in practice.

My Approach

I believe therapy is about more than symptom relief—it’s about developing self-awareness, emotional flexibility, and a stronger connection to yourself. Many of us operate within patterns that once made sense but now keep us stuck. Therapy provides space to explore these patterns with curiosity, creating clarity and lasting change.

My approach is grounded in therapies that help shift unhelpful patterns—not just in how we think, but in how we respond to emotions and challenges. This work isn’t about avoiding discomfort but about building the skills to navigate it with confidence and resilience.

Some people benefit from structured strategies and concrete tools, while others need space for reflection and deeper exploration—most need a mix of both. We’ll work together to find the approach that best supports your needs and goals.

Therapeutic Approaches I Use

I integrate a range of proven, evidence-based therapies tailored to your needs, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Mindfulness-Based Techniques & Mind-Body Approaches

Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to you—whether navigating challenges, processing the past, or exploring new possibilities. Whether you seek insight, skills, or space to process, we’ll find an approach that fosters both reflection and progress.

Professional Experience

With a decade of clinical experience, I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, identity, relationships, and major life transitions. My training and work at Stanford, the VA Medical System, and in private practice have shaped my approach—balancing depth and scientific expertise with flexibility, warmth, and curiosity.

For four years, I led the Trauma, Transformation, and Resilience Program at the Center for Compassion Focused Therapy, working with individuals facing some of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.

Beyond The Therapy Room

Outside of sessions, I spend my time with my husband and our 9-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix, who has endless energy and personality. I love reading, filling tiny notebooks with ideas and sketches, and caring for my ever-growing collection of 30+ houseplants—all of which have names.

Reaching out can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to figure it all out before getting started. If you're curious about working together, I’d love to hear from you.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can talk, go over any questions you have, and see if we’d be a good fit. Send me a message, and we’ll find a time to connect.
